My way as a teacher in Germany – NetWork Videopodcast with Irina

“I really enjoy being here at school”

Irina is in Germany since 2013. In her home country Russia she studied German and English for a teaching degree. In 2014 she has been working on the recognition in Germany for the first time. But at that time there were some challenges. Irina started working in a different field. When she tried it again with the recognition in 2017, everything went much better. At the Chamber of Employees in Bremen she got support from the advice centre for foreign vocational qualifications. She also took part in German language courses for teachers from all over the world and in tutorials and coaching for teachers from all over the world. She is now studying at the University of Bremen for the complete recognition of her qualifications. At the same time she is already teaching German as a foreign language in a preliminary course at a school in Bremen. The next step is then the official traineeship at a school.

We thank Irina for the insight into her life! Thanks to everyone involved for the great shoot!
