Occupational language courses

In order to work in Germany, you should speak good German. In some professions you need a special subject-specific vocabulary. You can learn this vocabulary in vocational language courses. In these courses, you learn German for a specific job or for working in general.

In most cases, the language target is B2. Vocational language courses are offered in the form of basic vocational language courses and specialized vocational language courses. Vocational language courses build on the integration courses: In the integration courses, immigrants learn everyday German. In subsequent vocational language courses, job-seeking immigrants are prepared for the labor market.

The vocational language courses are made up of different courses. The courses can be combined individually and can also be combined with measures offered by the Federal Employment Agency.
