The future is environmental craftsmanship

Have you already gained work experience in industrial and skilled trades in your home country, but your experience doesn’t quite meet the threshold for (partial) recognition in Germany? Is your language level consistent with level B1 and are you interested in doing a manual job?

Then the “The future is environmental craftsmanship” qualification course is right for you!

Content

  • Assessing your skills: Your language and technical skills will be assessed using a test developed by the Paritätisches Bildungswerk. This allows us to identify areas where you may still need to obtain further qualifications and undergo further training. This is done in close co-operation with companies and guilds.
  • Qualification: You will be trained according to your individual needs in a 1:1 or group setting (including Technical German, communication at work, specialised arithmetic, and digital media in the workplace). You will also be given important information about the different fields of work and available opportunities within the environmental trades.
  • Industrial placement: As part of the project, you will complete a placement (8 weeks) to gain an insight into the profession and apply the knowledge and experience you have already acquired in practice.
  • Coaching/ Follow-up support: you will receive individual coaching tailored to your needs throughout the programme. If necessary, a follow-up period of up to 4 months may follow.
  • Proof of training/ Certification: You will receive a certificate listing the results of the skills assessment and the content of the completed qualification modules.
