The Helene Kaisen Community Centre opened its doors in 1952, making it the first community centre in Bremen. In addition to its many leisure groups for the young and the old, there is also a meeting centre for the elderly. In addition to group activities for children, young people and adults (including “getting creative with sound”, gymnastics, cooking), there is a plethora of activities taking place. In particular, there are countless music events in the form of concerts or musical performances and specialist events such as readings and exhbitions.
