“Mitbremern- Engagement von Geflüchteten” (refugees’ commitment ) is a project of the Volunteers’ Agency Bremen, that adresses to refugees, who want to do volunteer work. The motto is “to have a say, to participate, to experience – mitbremern (wordplay means: to be a part of Bremen)!” A positive side effect is that participants learn German easily thanks to the project and can also make new friends. The activities one can propose may be similar to a profession that has already been learnt or completely new ones, too.
