Educational Guidance in Crafts (Trade)

If you want to learn a craft (for example baker, tailor, hairdresser, barber, brick layer) and you are in Bremen or Bremerhaven, you are welcome to ask the Chamber of Crafts (“Handwerkskammer”) for help.

The advisors at the “Handwerkskammer” inform you about the German vocational system and about the job you are interested in. The advisors help you to write job applications and teach you how to do a job interview, too. If you have already worked in a job  in another country, the advisors check whether your job experience will be accepted in Germany and what you have to do for it.
