Advice for people with mental illnesses

FOKUS is the Initiative zur sozialen Rehabilitation e.V.’s centre for education and participation. The team has many years of experience in the development and implementation of educational programmes in the psychosocial sector as well as for companies and organisations. There are educational activities for people with mental illnesses. We promote the self-determined participation of people with psychiatric disorders or a history of trauma.

“Arbeit im Fokus“ is a FOKUS counselling project for people in mentally stressful situations. This is funded by the ESF. Many people are sick of living on little money, having no job or constantly feeling that they are not good enough. At “Arbeit im Fokus”, you will find people with whom you can talk openly and who will work with you to come up with your next steps.

What makes it special is a team of trained coaches and recovery counsellors who have overcome their own crises and are now back at work. The different perspectives give you the opportunity to rediscover the topic of employment and work for yourself. The team sees its primary task as helping people to help themselves. They broaden horizons and provide incentives.

Group events on various topics are also available in addition to individual coaching sessions. The service is free.
