Training/retraining as a childcare worker – PBW

Even without a high school diploma, you can still find qualified employment as a social education worker!

There is a high demand for social education workers – and this is your opportunity! If you would like to work in a nursery, daycare center, or children’s home, for example, then complete vocational school training to become a childcare worker with us. We will support you on your path to qualified employment in a field that is in high demand.

You can participate in the training/retraining program

if you have an extended vocational training qualification (extended secondary school diploma) or
if you have an equivalent school diploma from another country and proof of German language skills at level B1.

With us, you can complete your vocational school training as a childcare worker either as retraining (for clients of the Job Center/Employment Agency) or as in-service training (for employees in social education institutions for child and youth welfare).
