Bremer integration qualification for young people and young adults (BiQ)

Are you new to Germany and currently unable to speak German? This means that you can’t yet speak German to B1 level? Are you aged between 18 and 26 and not in full-time education?

You will improve your employment prospects with the Bremer Integration Qualification for young people and young adults. You will also learn more about the world of work and people in Germany. The service is free of charge.

You will take part in German lessons five days a week within the scope of a youth integration course. You will also receive tuition in maths and be able to make use of our careers’ service. You will complete an internship. During which, you will get to know the company and the profession. You can take part in leisure activities in your spare time, such as swimming courses or beginners’ PC courses. The teaching staff will help you with any questions or problems you may have.

The aim is to achieve a level of spoken German that corresponds to the B1 level and gain successful entry to an entry qualification (EQ) or vocational training course. The duration will be dependent on your current German language skills and can may take up to 14 months.

Participation is free. It doesn’t matter what your residence status is, you can still take part.
There is also a literacy course (target: A2). Simply speak with a contact person for more information.
