Qualification in school‑related technical language (C2) for Ukrainian teachers and teachers with foreign qualifications

Are you a teacher and would like to have your qualification recognised in Germany? Or do you work as a language support teacher in Bremen?On behalf of the Senator for Children and Education Bremen, the Paritätisches Bildungswerk offers an advanced subject-specific language qualification – a job-related language course aiming at C2 level.You can take part in this course if you are a teacher in the recognition process or if you work as a language support teacher in Bremen and have already reached German level C1.In this advanced qualification, you train phrases, technical terms and classroom language for student-centred and methodically diverse teaching, as well as confident presenting in everyday school life. Professional, role-appropriate communication – for example in parent–teacher meetings – is also practised.Module 1: Guiding student-centred, differentiated & method-rich lessons: phrases, technical terms and classroom language(40 hours plus 10 hours guided self-study)Module 2: Presenting confidently in everyday school life(40 hours plus 10 hours guided self-study)Module 3: Actively shaping educational partnerships – communicating professionally(40 hours plus 10 hours guided self-study)Module 4: Independently and continuously managing your own language acquisition(40 hours plus 10 hours guided self-study)Module 5: Preparation for the “School” C2 subject‑language examination(40 hours plus 20 hours guided self-study)At the end of the qualification, you take a subject‑language examination “School” at C2 level (based on the CEFR). In this exam, you complete different conversations and texts based on professional communication situations. You demonstrate that you understand the linguistic requirements and can express yourself clearly, appropriately and confidently.
