Professional Language Course B2 – PBW

Good German language skills are essential for work and training. Learn German and improve your chances on the job market!

In the B2 vocational language course, you will expand your German language skills and be well prepared for working life. You will increase your vocabulary related to work and learn about the specifics of the working world in Germany. At the end of the course, you will take a certificate exam, the German Test for Work (DTB) B2 or the B2 Nursing Technical Language Exam.

In addition to general B2 vocational language courses, you can also take a B2 course for healthcare professions and one for early childhood education, an online course (only for employees and trainees), and a B2 course for the visually impaired and blind.

You can participate in the B2 vocational language course:

if you have already taken a language course and achieved language level B1.
if you have a valid “authorization to participate in a vocational language course” from the Jobcenter/Employment Agency or the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF).

Please bring your current language certificate and your ID with you.
