The “Bremer Volkshochschule” (VHS) (Bremen Adult Education Centre) has several locations in Bremen and offers many different education programmes. In addition to literacy courses, German courses and other language courses, there are courses in the areas of health, environment, society, politics and culture. There is also the opportunity to undertake further career-based training and to attend computer courses.
